This image was taken a day ago with the winter storm Nemo coming in. Nemo, interesting.. This was taken in my back yard with smooth snow about 2 inches on the ground. I had visualized this image for about two days and I had finally got the opportunity to capture it. I used my canon 7d with the 50mm (F1.8) Lens. I used the editing app called Snapsneed on my iPad to give the final touches. I really love this picture due to capturing the snow flakes in the air and catching the smile on her face as well.
At that moment I couldn't see very well her face or how her hand positions were because of the brightness of the snow. The picture itself was a little under exposed because I wanted to have some visual of the snow on the ground. Images like these are a physical representation of what was in my mind. I like how I can show the world what's really going on in my head as close as possible. This mind of mine is a wild one and it's nice to share it in a peaceful way.
